How Does It Work?
When you join the Joomlashack affiliate program, you will be supplied with a range of banners and textual links that you place within your site, or send out in emails. When a user clicks on one of your links to our site, their activity will be tracked by our affiliate software, and if they purchase something you'll receive a percentage of the sale. The more links you place, the more people will click them. It's that simple.
With our affiliate program, you can choose which of our products to promote: templates, extensions, Joomlashack University, or all 3. Our system can be setup to notify you when a link has been followed or only when a sale was made. Starting January 2012, the minimum payout will be $25.
How can I earn more?
The best performing affiliates earn thousands of dollars a month. They do so by:
1.) Placing several ads for Joomlashack's different products in strategic, high-traffic areas of their sites.
2.) Promoting our highest prized items like our Dev. Clubs or University Lifetime.
2.) Forwarding and tweeting our weekly email promos and product launches to their databases.
3.) Blogging about our product launches and promotions.
4.) Reviewing our products and Developer Clubs and recommending them.
Commissions
For templates, extensions, and Developer's Club sales, you will receive 20% of each sale that you make. You can earn $120 for just one Developer Club Sale!
And for Joomlashack University sales, you'll receive the following:
- For 1 month subscriptions: $10 per sale
- For 2 month subscriptions: $17 per sale
- For 6 month subscriptions: $25 per sale

Q & A
Q: How will I know when I've earned a commission?
A: Once you're an affiliate, you can login 24 hours a day to check your sales, traffic, account balance and see how your banners and text links are performing. Affiliates are paid once a month on the 27th of the month for the referrals earned the previous month.
Q: Can I become an affiliate in order to SAVE on my Joomlashack purchases?
A: As affiliates we want to encourage you to sell, promote, and of course, use our products. So, yes you can. When you sign up to be an affiliate you can use your own affiliate code to buy at Joomlashack. However, the referral commissions on those initial purchases will not be paid until your affiliate link has generated further affiliate revenue and traffic.
Q: Do I earn commissiones when products are on sale?
A: Yes, absolutely. Promoting our sales is how our best affiliates earn the most. You will earn a commission on the discounted value of the purchase made that day.
Q: What happens when a refund or a chargeback is applied to a purchase that earned a referral?
A: The referral will be discounted accordingly.
Warning Concerning Fraudulent Transactions
Some thieves use stolen credit card numbers to purchase from sites that sell digital downloadable products. These thieves are not interested in the goods they buy, but rather in the referrals they will earn as affiliates of the site.
Our referral payment system is not 100% automated and this allows us to visually check each month who the new affiliates are, what kind of revenue they generated and how they did it. We will check our current affiliates regularly and we will scrutinize every transaction a new affiliate's traffic generates.
When a new affiliate arouses suspicion, we will get in touch with the Affiliate, tell him his account has been placed on hold, and ask him for more information regarding where he has placed our ads and how he has promoted our site. We will also contact each buyer that bought using his link to make sure they made the purchase. If the email address bounces or looks suspicious we will call the buyer on the phone or write them a letter. Our system will also tell us when the purchase was made from the same IP address that the Affiliate has used.
All this happens BEFORE a single referral payment has been made.
Any affiliate found to be involved in any actions not deemed appropriate by Joomlashack.com will be terminated immediately and the information will be forwarded to the credit card authorities. In these cases, any unpaid referral earnings will be forfeited.
