Multiple Event Calendars

Looking to make individual Event calendars for every teacher. This will help them deal with assigning homework. I am hoping that Joomla can replace our current system (http://www.kealing.org/default.asp  - click a teacher) which is a homegrown "portal".

Is anyone else doing something like this?
