I seriously like js_jamba. It is a fabulously nice template. There is some really beautiful work circulating at joomlashack.com.

However, strange but true, the template looks much better in windows/FF3 than in linux/FF3.

The widgets (form elements) actually look awful on Ubuntu/FF3. My linux-based users (including myself) are complaining :-)

Is there anybody who has fixed this before in js_jamba? I am experiencing these problems for the site: sankuru.biz.

Thank you for this fantastic work of art!

How about some screenshots to understand what you mean? That would help.

Ok. I've attached a screenshot which shows the problems with the widgets in the left template position.

I'll ask for another screenshot from the user who pointed my attention to the problem. He was talking about some other visual discrepancies between win/FF3 and lin/FF3.

How about some screenshots...

I received the following screenshots from a user of the site:

The user has reproduced the problem on the following platforms:
- Ubuntu Hardy (LST 8.04)
- Ubuntu Intrepid (8.10)
- Windows XP SP3, FF 3.0.10

I've received another screenshot from a site user on winXP+FF3.0.10:

I've tested the site's HTML with HTML Tidy. I only get warnings about table tags not containing a summary attribute, but otherwise no serious html errors. Is this rather a problem with FF3.0.10?

Any idea as to why the problem occurs?

The html seems to be valid. It is not the result of unclosed tags, css errors or other low-hanging fruit problems. And it only occurs in certain versions of firefox. I'd really like to know why this happens ... If anybody could help here, I would be most grateful.
