Hi,
First of all great product. I have got it up and running and auto emails are sending from icontact at specified periods from the registration date which is exactly what i was after.
However i have run into a problem where a user who has registered but not activated their account tries to login.. The
Login Denied! system error message displays twice.
Then, when that user navigates the site, the error remains on the page until they activate and login. I am guessing a variable is stored somewhere, as the error remains when the user revisits the site after navigating away.
I have made the standard login module inactive so that should not be duplicating the message. The cache is set to off in administration. I have checked the template file but nothing duplicated there (i.e
<jdoc:include type="message" />
)
Clearing my browser cache removes the message and stops it from appearing until the non-activated user tries to log back in again.
I have also noticed that the message doen not come from the system
en-GB.ini file in the standard languages folder. Where does the message come from as i will want to change the message displayed?
I hope the above makes sense, if not you can visit below and login using the test account to see what i mean:
The site is still in development, but the address is
www.makeyourwebsite.com.au .
non-activated username: testing
non-activated password: testing123
I am using Joomla Version 1.5.14 and the error occurs in both IE v8 abd FF v3
More information can be found on the joomla forum where i started a thread, however was told to check here to see if it could be a component error.
