Integration with JomSocial?

Would be great if we could somehow integrate this with JomSocial's registration system. A plugin shouldn't be too hard, should it?

Actually, rather than a plugin, it would be great if this could be triggered by a yes/no field in jomsocial and community builder. It would be a lot easier than creating a plugin. There already seems to be an option to subscribe everyone on signup. If you could just replace that with an "if" statement, which said if "field_icontactregister"=yes, then "subscribe" them. I hope you understand what I mean. Then, in the back, you could specify the jomsocial/cb field to trigger it. Just an idea.

This is the exact functionality I am looking for.  Is it on the horizon for JContact?
