I tried using the 'Attachments' extension for Joomla! to upload and attach pdf files to my content articles.  Unless the files were very small, they would not upload.  I contacted my webhost provider (iPage) and they told me to FTP the files to the site, and then import them into Joomla.

Now that I have the files on my webhost site, how do I attach them to an article?

Thanks in advance!

Joyce

Hi.

Please check the given url.
  http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/external-contents/widgets-&-documents/5327/details
please use the plugin to diaplay the pdf int he article page [Embed PDF in content for 1.0 & 1.5].

This is another way to give link and download the pdf in the artcle page .
Please open a new folder in the root path of the site.
Then please import all Pdf file in that folder.
Then you have to import a new pdf image in image stories folder.
Then you will give the external link in the html editor.

    sample code
    <p><a href="pdf/GoldenRules.pdf">  /*folder name/pdf name
           <img src="images/stories/pdf.jpg" border="0" />  /*image path */
         [/url]
    </p>

Thanks and Regards,

I tried downloading the plugin that you suggested, but the link is broken.   Is there somewhere else that I can find the plugin?

Thanks so much.
