Back in December we asked you to nominate your favorite charity for our "Charity Starts with a Joomla Home(page)" Contest.

In eight days you sent us over 110 nominations from worthy organizations from around the world. Twenty seven submitted information to be considered as a finalist. After a fascinating, fun, and difficult evaluation process, Team Joomlashack has picked these five charities as our finalists.

Now it's time for you to vote for the charity you believe is most deserving of a donation of either a free website design or $1000USD. We wish all five could win, but now you, our community, will decide.

I have chosen Court Appointed Special Advocate, well deserved due to it's outreach and advocacy for children that have been abused and neglected.  Volunteers, become the voice for children.

Tx for this great initiative. I've voted for 'casa do caminho' as I've been a volunteer there last year. It is a great place & offers a real chance on a normal life to these underpriviliged children & teenagers.
