Announcing the Joomla! Template Builder!
We are proud to announce the beta release of our newest application to the Joomlashack product family.
This time it's more than just a template. It's a template builder! No need for expensive graphics software or even knowledge of CSS for that matter.
The Joomla! Template Builder simply allows you to choose your colors, styles, and options then generates a one of a kind template. The JTB also has its own "Module Builder." By using native PHP and the GD library, you can have round cornered modules without ever opening anything but your browser.
The first template to be incorporated to the JTB is called "MyTemplate." This is your template to customize however you want. If you've ever had a hard time finding the template with all the right options and the exact colors then the wait is over!...Oh, and it's 1.0/1.5 Native, XHTML Valid, and supports all major browsers.
Visit the Joomla! Template Builder | View the MyTemplate Demo | Purchase MyTemplate and get started customizing yours today! |

We feel we are pretty knowledgeable here at Joomlashack about SEO,
heck, we even wrote a book or two about it. We also know a good deal
when we see one.
Last year Steve Burge of www.alledia.com came up with a new club concept, the Joomla SEO club.
He had already written a great ebook about SEO, and then he bundled it
together with online access and a forum to create Joomla's first
non-template club! |

If you haven't caught Joomla 1.5 fever yet, and are planning on keeping your Joomla 1.0.X website for a while longer, there's important news for you on the Joomla Project website.
According to the news item from joomla.org,
This version has been triggered by reported cross site scripting problems that could occur under the right circumstances. We have also addressed many other general bugs and problems as well.
This release addresses serious security vulnerabilities and you should proceed with testing on a backup copy of your site. Once you have verified that your site works as expected, we recommend upgrade your live site as soon as possible.
So there you have it... upgrade your site as soon as possible. Will do! But how? Learn more about upgrading.

The moment we've all been waiting for has arrived... and has passed us by and vaulted into the future. Some plot line from the Matrix? No- the rapid development and improvement of Joomla 1.5.
Back in late January the Joomla Project released a stable version of Joomla 1.5, an event long awaited and eagerly anticipated in the Joomlaverse. After nearly 18 months in development, several betas and four Release Candidates, Joomla 1.5 arrived, ready and stable. The pent-up excitement overwhelmed the Joomla 1.5 download site for a time, with thousands trying to get their hands on the stable release all at once.
All of us here at Joomlashack were so excited that we all jumped right into playing with the new version, and forgot to take a break from the fun and blog about it. Good thing, too- because within just a couple weeks, Joomla 1.5.1 hit the scene unexpectedly. A small but important security vulnerability surfaced in 1.5.0 very quickly, thanks in part to the incredible number of downloads and new users that put the stable release to the test and ferreted out the bug in record time.
So- if you haven't yet joined the throngs to try out Joomla 1.5.1, now you can! Be sure to check out all of our 1.5-ready templates too.
