The Joomla World Conference is the premier Joomla event and it's back again in 2019.

The event started in 2012 in California: Joomlashack was there at the beginning, sponsoring and attending.

The conference has since traveled around the world, and in 2019, it is coming to London for the first time.

The venue will be the ILEC Conference Centre in west London, from November 8 to 10. The organizing team expect around 400 people to attend.

There will be workshops on the Friday and then a full 2 day schedule on Saturday and Sunday.

Here's a couple of other reasons to get excited:

• The speakers: Every year, the Joomla team have done a great job attracting high-profile speakers, and the same is true again this year. There are at least 3 speakers that almost every webdesigner will know.
• Joomla 4: From what I've heard, the plan is to release Joomla 4 close to the date of the conference. However, don't take that to the bank - there's a lot of work to do before then.
