This presentation was from Victor Vogel. Victor works for Plesk, the company that is deep inside the hosting industry. Victor is deeply involved in Joomla as well. He has I think about one hundred and fifty extensions of the last count and has volunteered and helped out in just about every area of the Joomla project. Victor is a good friend and I am delighted to welcome him to present to us today.
Automatic Updates are Coming to Joomla

Sometime in the next couple of years, your Joomla sites will be updating automatically.
I believe this is awesome news. I've been in favor of auto-updates since 2014 and finally they are here.
Many people will probably disagree, but we shouldn't be afraid of change. Auto-updates are a very helpful tool to keep sites safe and they're proven to be reliable.
