N6, is not the World's First Single Scrolling Page Joomla Template*
* We apologize for the original sensationalist headline as we we've been duly informed that we were not the first. This is the best, and most reliable, though, because it's the first built on the Wright Framework.
Whew! The 6-in-6 Challenge is over, and we almost did not make it. The Single Scrolling Page quality of N6 was something very different and difficult to get right, and as you already know, we don't release something that we do not feel 100% proud of. It was also difficult to create a demo that could show you just what N6 can do for you. That is the reason for the 2 week delay, but the result is worth it.

One of the downsides to using popular software such as Joomla, WordPress or Drupal is that lots of spammers know how to target that software. For example, it is not unusual to get a lot of spam registrations on your site.
Joomla 2.5 introduced a new Captcha feature that helps reduce spam registrations. Users will see text that they have to type in before Joomla will accept their registration.

Celebrated once every 4 years, the Joomlashack Leap Year Celebration Sale was first held on February 29, 1972 in a wild soirée of free love, rock & roll, and community. It set a "high" bar for the following Leap Year celebrations. Four years later in 1976 and in the middle of the energy crisis, we did not expect much, however, taking advantage of the US bicentennial we were able hold a wonderful red, white, and blue party, though we have since changed back the company colors to green and black.

Our team started testing Joomla 2.5 two weeks earlier and by 1pm EST on Jan 24th, our team had already updated 25+ templates and extensions to be Joomla 2.5 - compatible. Today we have over 30 Joomla 2.5 Templates in addition to several Free Joomla 2.5 Templates.

Update: this tutorial is out-of-date. This new Joomla video gallery tutorial is better, and so is this video grid tutorial. Both use the excellent OSYouTube.
The AllVideos plugin will allow you to display almost any type of media on your Joomla site, whether it's a video or audio file and whether you're using local or remote storage.
We're going to show you how to download and install the AllVideos plugin and then how to get the videos into your article. We also had a member request for a tutorial on making a video photo gallery, so we're going to do that also.

Joomla 2.5 shipped with many new features including multi-database support and much improved one-click upgrades.
One the most important of those features was a brand new search extension: Smart Search. Smart Search is destined to be the replacement for com_search which has been around since 2005 at least.
