If you collect data from EU citizens, the way your site stores the data must comply with GDPR.
We just implemented a few small but important changes in our Shack Forms form builder to make it GDPR compliant.

New Feature: Custom Limits for Lists of OSCampus Classes and Pathways

We are happy to announce that we implemented another useful feature in our OSCampus Pro 1.2.4.
You can now set your own custom limits for the lists of displayed OSCampus classes.
Previously, this limit was automatically set to the value set in your Joomla's Global Configuration.

OSYouTube Supports YouTube's Privacy Enhanced Mode

It's now just over a month since the launch of Europe's GDPR laws. We recently wrote a guide to how Joomla is handling the GDPR.
We've also been listening and responding to customer requests about the GDPR.
One of the most common requests has been for improvements to how OSYouTube handles privacy. I'm pleased to say that we've just released a new version of OSYouTube which makes it much easier to be GDPR-compliant. The new version makes it much easier to disable cookies for your users.

New Feature: OSCampus Single Pathway Menu Item Type

We are happy to announce that we implemented a new feature in our OSCampus Pro.
Starting with version 1.2.4, you will have the OSCampus Pro - Pathway new menu item type. It will display all classes of a single pathway.

We Are Willing to Adopt Joomla Extensions

Over the last few days, we've been contacted by several Joomla users. These users were customers of a particular Joomla extension developer. The developer seems to have vanished overnight, shutting down their website.
This is not the first time we've seen a situation like this. Life happens. People get busy, create new extensions and services, change jobs, or may need to stop development for 1,001 other reasons.
But, if you don't want to disappoint your existing customers, let me offer an option: Joomlashack is willing to adopt your extensions.

We are happy to announce that the second extension is also here today. Say hello to "Shack Forms"!
Introducing Shack Forms
Shack Forms is the centerpiece of the Perfect Web acquisition.
Shack Forms will allow you to create contact forms, booking forms, support ticket forms, and many other types of forms.
This forms extension has 10,000's of users, with nearly 300 reviews and a perfect 10/10 score on the JED.
Judging by the JED ranking, this is already the third most popular forms extension in the Joomla world.
We think Joomlashack users are going to love it!
Our goal with this acquisition is to provide you with the most user-friendly and powerful forms extension in Joomla.
The original name of the extension is "Perfect Ajax Popup Contact Form". We're going to call it Shack Forms.

Please note: You will need a new license key from Joomlashack to keep updating your extensions.
If you're not convinced to move, we've already started to add cool new features such as the ability to store the messages sent to you through Shack Forms.

What comes next?
In the next couple of weeks, we plan to launch one more Perfect Web extensions here at Joomlashack: Shack Open Graph (formerly known as "Open Graph and X / Twitter Card Tags").
When you go on social media and share links from Joomla sites, it does not find the appropriate images on your site.
This plugin adds invisible Open Graph so that Facebook, X / Twitter, and other sites will automatically find the right image to show.

We are happy to announce the release of Shack Toolbox. This is one of the extensions we recently acquired from Perfect Web.
Shack Toolbox will take your Joomla modules to a new level. You can use Shack Toolbox to display Joomla articles, multimedia content, or posts from your social networks.
The extension enables you to use many themes, animations, and visual effects including lightboxes, slideboxes, and popups.
In this tutorial, I'm going to show you how to use Shack Toolbox. We'll see how to display your site's Cookie Policy and a Joomla article.
