Over the last few years, we've been adopting extensions here at Joomlashack.
These extensions include Tabs and Sliders, JCal Pro, jInbound, Shack Forms, Shack Toolbox and Shack Open Graph amongst others. These are powerful and mature extensions that users love.
Joomlashack users have given us many suggestions for other extensions to adopt. One idea has been suggested far more than any other: User Article Manager. This extension was really popular in early Joomla versions. It allowed you to accept articles from the frontend of your site. It also allowed writers to manage their articles without logging into the Joomla admin.

Back in January, we looked ahead to 2019 and set three main goals for the year:
- Provide customers with a smooth transition to Joomla 4.

- Improve the Joomlashack brand by redesigning the logo and rebranding our extensions.

I owe a big "Thank You" to the Joomlashack community.
Just over two months ago, I wrote a post called "We Are Working on a New Joomlashack Logo".
I described all the problems we found while trying to design a new logo. In the end, I presented a new version of the logo and said:

Here at Joomlashack, we were alerted to a possible security issue with OSMap.
To the best of our knowledge, this report is false. We did post our own detailed response on the reporting site called "Packet Storm". However, not only did Packet Storm remove the security report, but other sites picked up the report with our response.

One of our customers asked how to create a "Thank You" page for a jInbound landing page. With jInbound you can create a "Thank You" page using Joomla articles.
This is a three-step process:
- Create a "Thank You" Joomla article.
- Create a hidden menu item for the "Thank You" article.
- Set your landing page to use the "Thank You" article.

Say Hello to Shack Analytics, the Newest Extension at Joomlashack
- Written by Steve Burge Steve Burge
- Published: 11 February 2019 11 February 2019
We're delighted to release Shack Analytics for Joomlashack users.
Shack Analytics is a single extension to manage all the analytics code on your sites.
Joomla site owners often have scripts such as Google Analytics, Adwords, Clicky, Facebook, MailChimp, and other sites. But those scripts are always hidden away inside random modules, plugins or template files.
Shack Analytics allows you to see all your analytics on a single screen. This is the same philosophy that inspired OSMeta. We want to make life easier for you by gathering everything in one easy-to-find location.
Shack Analytics makes it easy to assign analytics to your whole site, but you can also choose specific pages or menu links. This means that Shack Analytics is excellent for targeting specific landing pages or "Thank You" screens.
